Host Day Shift Weekends

As a Host/Hostess at Denny's, you will be responsible for greeting and seating customers, receiving payments, and assisting service personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
Greet and welcome customers immediately upon arrival, verifying the number in their party and determining any special needs
Collect payment from customers in accordance with established cash handling procedures and handle customer complaints/suggestions appropriately
Seat customers at tables/booths appropriate for their needs and those of the restaurant
Handle incoming phone calls promptly
Provide customers with initial beverage orders and refill their beverages when possible
Maintain a clean and organized waiting area and register area
Ensure customers are greeted and seated in a pleasant and courteous manner, following company timing standards. Handle guest check transactions properly to balance the register totals at the end of the shift.

Must be able to work with computers and have good phone skills
Carrying trays of food products weighing about 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet
Must meet any state, county, or municipal regulations pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling
Must immediately inform management of any safety hazards, equipment problems, or complaints from guests, or other employees
Must complete all video training, anti-discrimination & anti-harassment training, and comply with Denny's nondiscrimination policies
