Cleveland Wheel and Brake Systems (CWBS) is a systems integrator that provides aircraft braking systems and key system components including wheels, brakes, and hydraulic components for the general aviation, turboprop, business jet, rotorcraft and military markets. Executes procurement strategies and sourcing activities for assigned commodities, suppliers, or operational categories. Manages supplier selection, contract negotiations, procurement compliance, and supplier performance activities while supporting operational continuity, cost management, and supply chain efficiency. Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely procurement execution and operational support.

Effective execution of procurement strategies and sourcing activities

Successful supplier selection, contract negotiation, and procurement coordination

Reliable supplier delivery, quality, and performance management

Compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements

Improved procurement efficiency, supplier responsiveness, and cost management

Accurate procurement reporting and supplier performance tracking

Solid working knowledge of procurement and supply chain practices

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related discipline preferred

Typically requires 2–4 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience

Works under general supervision and may mentor junior staff

Procurement strategy execution

Supplier selection and contract negotiation

Supplier relationship and performance management

Procurement compliance and policy adherence

Cost analysis and operational support

Process improvement and problem-solving

Proficient Computer Skills – Microsoft Office and procurement systems

Holds self to high standards of performance and integrity

Prioritizes team and company over personal gain

Shares ideas and suggests solutions that enhance team or business performance

Consistently follows through on project timelines, meeting and deliverables
