Warehouse Responsible and Delivery

We are a high-end home staging company that delivers furniture and decor throughout the NY tri-state area. The Warehouse Manager provides direct support, supervision and coordination to the warehouse & moving crews to ensure the overall success of the operation. We are looking for a motivated and personable warehouse manager who can take the initiative and is passionate. Must be willing to relocate within the next 12 months as our warehouse location will be moving to Bridgeport, CT.****
The Warehouse manager provides direct support, supervision and coordination to the warehouse & moving crews to ensure the overall success of the operation
Manage warehouse and transport teams by training, setting expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback, development and progressive discipline.
Manage and control condition and security of inventory including proper storage, handling, disposal, transfer, cleaning and repair.
Inspects physical condition of warehouse and inventory.
Manage warehouse organization and special projects.
Manage productivity and performance of each team member.
Ensure cleanliness, maintenance and security of the warehouse.
Ensure that safety standards are adhered to in all areas of the warehouse.
Provide necessary training on basic furniture handling, furniture repair, installation procedures and safety.
Work with the Director of Operations to control labor, inventory, and supply costs.
Communicate with Sales and Design Team about inventory and scheduling.
Provide consistent top-level customer service.
A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a warehouse
Work history with furniture management, delivery or home staging a plus
Computer proficiency (Google, Excel, etc.)
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
