RN Weekend PCU Day Shift

Registered Nurse (RN) / PCU / TelemetryWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Telemetry to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients during their recovery process.Job DetailsDuration: 13 WeeksShift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 3/12's)Weekend Requirements: Must be available to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduleFloating Requirements: Must be willing to float between departments and various locations within the regionResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:Evaluating assigned patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care.Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures.Performing various patient tests and administering medications within the RN's scope of practice.Promoting patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.Using clinical judgment and experience to plan and achieve nursing goals.Performing a variety of tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.BLS and ACLS certification required.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU or Telemetry setting.Experience with cardiac drips and familiarity with TAVRs and Watchman mitral clips is preferred.Associate's degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.Proficiency in Cerner EMR is required.Additional InformationThis is a float pool position, and candidates must be adaptable and willing to collaborate across various departments and facilities within the region.
