Registered Nurse - Telemetry/MedSurg - Weekend Nights

Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse
Location: South Carolina
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Every other weekend required.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in med/surg nursing, with telemetry experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.
Monitor patients' vital signs and manage their treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Epic charting system.
Administer medications and perform other nursing interventions as needed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in required staff meetings and complete assigned modules prior to start date.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med/Surg unit.
Active SC RN license or Compact license in hand.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
Telemetry experience, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management, is a plus.
