Facility Address: 650 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix AZ 85012ResponsibilitiesThe RN Wound Care assesses patients and develops plans of care for patients who are present at the clinic.Screen patients and evaluate chief complaints.Initiate treatment measures based on appropriate utilization of standing orders, certifications, and standards of care for the clinic.Consult with attending provider and collaborate in developing multi-disciplinary approach to provision of care.The RN Wound Care coordinates available resources to provide patients and family with social, age specific, emotional, educational, cultural, spiritual, and other identified health care support system needs.Observe and assess patient clinical condition- collect and interpret data from the history and physical assessment. Based on interpretation of data, implements appropriate Nursing action, and informs the provider of the patient's status.Documents all relevant patient health care treatments according to the organization's policies and procedures and in compliance with the organization and accrediting bodies health care standards of care.Provide adequate medical supply to assist in getting wound to heal.Document accurate measurement length, wide and depth to ensure wound healing.Maintain professional knowledge and proficiency in unit specific nursing knowledge and practice through continuing education.Participate in development, updating and evaluation of standards of care and quality improvement measures of the organization.The RN Wound Care maintains a professional caring attitude when dealing with patients, their families, hospital health care providers and other departmentsRequirementsExperience: Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience, with a specialization in wound care.Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university by the ACEN/CCNE in a nursing program with at least an associate's degree.Certification: Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) and Basic Life Support Certification.License/Registration: All nurses shall possess a current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in the state, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States, throughout the term of this contract.KurzSolutions is committed to improving health outcomes by providing well-managed companies with the top healthcare talent in the market.
