Sentara Health Plans is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as an Insurance Premium Payment Associate!
Position Status : Full-time, Day Shift
Standard Working Hours : Once training is complete, candidate must be able to work 9:00am to 6:000 PM EST, M-F--with a hybrid schedule requiring 2 days a week in office. Position Location: 2 in office days (Hybrid work schedule) at Sentara Park 1300 in Virginia Beach.
Insurance Premium Payment Associate
Responsible for taking both initial and ongoing payments for insurance products while maintaining a high level of customer service. Responsible to work in multiple computer programs at a time. Must be able to maintain a high level of service to customers while managing changing volume demands of the call center.
High school diploma or equivalent

1-year customer service experience REQUIRED

• Payment and or Billing experience in healthcare is highly preferred
• Computer skills & strong verbal skills in English REQUIRED
