Kei-Ai Los Angeles Healthcare Center is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant on a PRN basis in Los Angeles, California. The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the direction of a supervising licensed Physical Therapist to deliver individualized, evidence-informed physical therapy services within our Skilled Nursing setting. This position is classified as Non-Exempt and reports to the Director of Rehabilitation, the supervising Physical Therapist, and the Facility Administrator.

Implementing resident treatment plans in alignment with the established plan of care

Delivering skilled therapeutic interventions targeting strength, mobility, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional performance

Monitoring, documenting, and reporting resident responses and any clinical changes to the supervising Physical Therapist

Educating residents and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies as delegated

Maintaining adherence to HIPAA, infection control standards, OSHA regulations, patient rights, and all applicable California state practice standards

Supporting discharge planning and transition-of-care activities as directed

Participating in team meetings, care conferences, and quality assurance initiatives as requested

Treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassionate professionalism

The ability to assist in resident evacuation during emergency situations is also required.

Current, active, pending, and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of California

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (Associate degree conferring the PTA title) — required

Successful completion of the NPTE for PTAs — required

Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain per facility policy)
