Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapeutic interventions that help residents improve function, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist

Document daily treatment notes, progress notes, and other required therapy records

Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team

Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education

Train restorative aides and collaborate with nursing staff as needed

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning

Maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas

Report equipment issues and safety concerns promptly

Ensure compliance with state practice acts, facility policies, and regulatory requirements

Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and team members

Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Current South Carolina COTA license in good standing

Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferredExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
