The Certified Nursing Assistants provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.

7th Floor Medical Surgical: The 7th Floor Medical Surgical department at St. Anthony Hospital is a medical surgical unit where we primarily treat septic patients. Our department has 36 beds, and we see a range of surgical patients, ETOH withdrawal, cellulitis and treat many chronic conditions such as COPD and CHF. Our nurse communication scores have been some of the highest in this Magnet designated hospital. We are an innovative unit, often where hospital-wide projects being. We are looking for dynamic, hard-working people, who are looking for a strong medical surgical floor. Six months previous CNA experience preferred

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Basic computer skills

Previous customer service experience preferred

High School diploma or GED required

Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required

State registered CNA license required

Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds
