Safety Director Full Time Management 99927D, Hawley, MN, US

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $130,000.00 Annually

The Safety Director will develop, coordinate, and implement occupational health policies and procedures to promote and ensure effective safety operations within all entities of Spring Prairie HB including Taracon Precast, Wysan Precast Services, and Wysan Precast Logistics.

Essential Functions Collaborate with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety policies and procedures for all Spring Prairie companies. This includes plant operations, field operations, and logistics.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules.

Ensure completion of required OSHA recordkeeping and reporting.

Conduct new hire safety orientation for all companies.

Provide technical and administrative support to the safety committee.

Stop operations and activities that could harm employees or equipment.

Identify opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.

Conduct employee training on applicable safety standards.

Review safety training and recommend revisions, improvements, and updates.

Conduct safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all field activities.

Implement safety protocols and train field staff on safety procedures.

Travel to jobsites when applicable to ensure safety policies are followed during field construction.

Review accident and incident reports.

Report out monthly on overall safety of all entities of Spring Prairie

Execute other duties as assigned.

Reports to Chief Financial Officer

Education Requirements Required : Bachelor’s degree in health and Safety , Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or related field prefferr ed .

Experience Requirements Required: Five years of occupational health and safety experience.
