Star Nursing has an urgent need for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Maricopa County, AZ.
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Shifts: 3 x 12-hour shifts weekly
Commitment: Minimum 13 weeks
Opening: 2 day opening
Floating: No floating to other jails
Pay Rates:
Local: $23/hr. Travel no housing: $16/hr. (taxable) + $288/week (tax-free)
Service Description: Performs duties within the scope of practice to support quality patient care within a correctional health environment under the supervision of licensed medical or nursing personnel. Completes required documentation within the electronic health record and other approved documentation systems. Prepares patients for examination and treatment, obtains patient histories, records vital signs, and documents chief complaints. Performs basic clinical procedures, tests, and examinations. Maintains supplies within exam and procedure rooms and assists clinical staff with routine medical operations. Transcribes provider orders, schedules return appointments, performs venipunctures and lab tests when required, and assists patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
