Receptionist/ Customer Support / Front desk

Pyramid Hotel Group is the manager of this Candlewood Suites Hotel owned by Michigan State University. The 128-suite hotel is attached to MSU's state-of-the-art 96,000-square-foot Executive Education Center, overlooking the MSU-owned 18-hole championship golf course. Hotel guests also have access to the adjacent University Club dining facilities, health club, day care and recreational facilities. We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to join our Front Desk team. While checking in, registering guests, the Front Desk Agent is a source of knowledge for the guest for everything about the hotel, its amenities, and the local area.

Help guests discover their “Wanderlust” experience

Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest

Help to resolve problems and “WOW” guests through recovery when things aren’t quite right

Promote and sell special hotel programs.

Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.

Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies.

Maintain house bank.

Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Computer skills

Ability to stand for the duration of the shift

Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
