• *Exciting Opportunity for a Cardiac Sonographer!**
• *Position:** Full-Time Cardiac Sonographer

- **Shift:** Day Shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with Fridays required)
**Perform essential clinical adult cardiac ultrasound diagnostic procedures (echocardiography)

• Create preliminary reports for interpretation by a cardiologist
• Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology from a CAAHEP program or Health Science Program
• Current Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• Six (6) months of clinical training in cardiac ultrasound or comparable experience

**Two (2) years of post-graduation cardiac ultrasound experience

• Perform routine and advanced echocardiography procedures, including:
• Two-dimensional echo
• Stress echo (pharmacological and traditional)
• Transesophageal echo
• Emergent echo procedures
• Learn and apply advanced echo techniques such as 3D and strain imaging
• Utilize ultrasound enhancing agents (UEAs) as clinically necessary
• Provide echocardiography services across various locations as needed
• Keep all equipment in optimal working condition with routine maintenance
• Evaluate patients’ electronic medical records for pertinent information
• Prepare concise preliminary reports for cardiologist review
• Participate in professional education, quality improvement projects, and accreditation processes

**Proficiency in current computer applications and office equipment
- Flexibility to work beyond standard hours, including weekends and on-call shifts as necessary
**Exposure Risks:**
- Minimal exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases
