Fabrication / Welder - Immediate Hire

Description Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders/Fitters/Fabricators for projects located in the Tacoma, WA area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Perform dual-shield, wire-feed, stick, and flux-core welding

Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings

Fit, tack, align, and assemble metal components prior to welding

Measure, mark, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication

Grind welds and metal surfaces to meet quality requirements

Work with a variety of metals and materials according to project specifications

Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and accuracy

Previous welding, fitting, or metal fabrication experience required

Experience with dual-shield, wire-feed, stick welding, and/or flux-core welding

Ability to read and interpret weld symbols and fabrication drawings

Experience with fitting, tack welding, cutting, grinding, measuring, and assembly

Must possess a current WABO or ASME qualification for vertical and overhead welding, or be able to pass the required weld test

Ability to maintain quality and productivity standards in fabrication and welding environments
