Commitment of a minimum of 10 shifts within a 90-day period; Our PRN/Registry roles offer flexibility, purpose, and the chance to contribute when it works best for you. In this role the sonographer, under the general supervision of an attending radiologist, and in accordance with department protocols, the ultra-sonographer utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques to produce and evaluate ultrasound images and related data which is used by physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis resulting in quality patient care.

graduate from an accredited two-year Ultrasound Program, required; OR equivalent training acquired via work experience

Specific Degree(s): AMA approved Sonography program;

Graduate of a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) approved school of Ultrasound Technology

New Graduates- 9-month ultrasound coursework experience including clinical rotation

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)-Specialization in Abdomen, Ob/Gyn or PS

Other: New Graduate obtain certification within 3 months of hire

Pay Range: $39.00 – $59.00 per hour
