Physiatrist Needed Part-time (Physician )

Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operative room for all patient populations. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN reports to the OR Charge Nurse and DON

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of operating room experience. The candidate will be focused on providing excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, be flexible in assignments, and be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team that communicates well throughout the day. Experienced in supporting in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Spine, Urology.

Required Experience

Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Prefer at least 1-3 years' previous experience in Circulating

Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred

Must have current BLS, ACLS and PALS

Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient

Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation

Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed

Qualifications:

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current unrestricted license to practice in the State of CA. Current American Heart BLS certification and experience working as a circulator required. BSN preferred.
