Direct Support Professionals - Part Time mornings

Job Description Description: Looking for a direct support provider to work 32 hours weekly Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM for a young man with Down syndrome - $20/hr.
Provide support getting ready in the morning
Assist client in organizing and maintaining his room and his collection of movies
Provide transportation to jobs and community activities
Provide assistance working together in completing his jobs
Client volunteers at the Manchester Library, works part time at TJ Maxx
Client swims at the YMCA and likes shopping
He needs someone who is patient who will encourage him to be independent
Some personal care required during the day

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year in human services or health care required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
• Clean criminal, motor vehicle and Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services background checks
• Valid driver’s license, 100,000/300,000 liability insurance and reliable vehicle.
