Network Support / IT

Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a Mid Network Administrator.

Responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain, and support network infrastructure, systems, and related technologies
• Monitor network performance and assist with troubleshooting connectivity, performance, and system issues
• Support system configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and technology implementations
• Manage network devices, configurations, and documentation to ensure operational efficiency and reliability
• Assist with network security initiatives and ensure adherence to established standards and best practices
• Utilize monitoring and management tools to proactively identify, research, and resolve potential issues
• Support voice, data, cloud, and infrastructure-related projects and initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support technology solutions that align with business needs
• Recommend process improvements and technology enhancements to improve efficiency, security, and system performance
• Maintain accurate records, technical documentation, and operational procedures
• Participate in on-call support rotations and provide technical assistance as needed
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; Equivalent experience may be considered
• 5+ years of experience supporting network infrastructure, systems administration, or related IT functions
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and industry best practices
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless technologies, and network monitoring tools
• Familiarity with cloud environments, virtualization technologies, and system administration concepts
• Knowledge of network security principles and operational best practices
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues in a complex environment
• Professional networking or technology certifications (CCNA or similar) preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications
• Adaptable and flexible in a changing technology environment
