• *At this level one trauma center, dietitians play an integral role on multidisciplinary teams in many specialty areas, both in the 675 bed inpatient setting, as well as in over 35 outpatient clinics. RDs participate in research and quality improvement projects, host dietetic interns, and are supported in pursuing leadership and community service experiences. Continuing education opportunities are plentiful from within the accomplished nutrition team and from the health system which values ongoing training and education.

We strive to learn, teach and mentor, and our collaboration with physicians, NPs, SLPs, pharmacists, social workers, RN care coordinators and many others helps to make our work patient-centered, progressive, and rewarding. This RD will join two experienced metabolic RDs and will be skilled in providing medical nutrition therapy to patients with inborn errors of metabolism from birth through adulthood and will work closely with the genetics medical team regarding intervention, education and follow up of patients. This full-time position will join our inpatient and outpatient pediatric nutrition team, caring for metabolic patients during hospital admission and close outpatient follow up.
