CPA/Senior Tax Preparer

Founded over five decades ago and based in Oakbrook Terrace, with additional offices in Chicago and Joliet, we are a full service accounting and business advisory firm built around one idea, that the numbers only matter because of the people and businesses behind them. We work primarily with family owned and closely held businesses, offering everything from audit and tax to a full slate of consulting services that support a business through its entire life cycle. Base salary aligned to experience and growth plan, plus an annual bonus tied to goals set within that plan (specific range not provided, worth asking the client directly)

Engage with clients and staff to drive proactive tax planning

Prepare and review business, fiduciary, and individual tax returns

Manage income tax correspondence and build strong, lasting client relationships

Train and mentor staff to sharpen return preparation efficiency and grow their tax expertise

Dig into complex technical tax issues to guide client decisions

Gain exposure to foreign taxation, sales and use tax, and payroll tax

CPA or EA designation required, or actively pursuing one

Progressive experience in the tax department of a CPA firm

Strong background in preparing individual and business tax returns

Skilled in tax research across multiple resources
