Night Shift Hospital Dialysis Registered Nurse

Seeking a qualified Dialysis Registered Nurse to provide specialized care within a high-acuity hospital setting. The role involves managing dialysis treatments, including peritoneal dialysis, for varied patient populations while adhering to industry standards and hospital protocols.

Administer dialysis treatments and monitor patient responses, ensuring safety and efficacy.

Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient vitals, and treatment outcomes using Cerner charting system.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Respond to emergent situations by providing on-call support for night and Sunday dialysis needs.

Comply with COVID vaccination requirements, managing exemptions as necessary.

Follow facility protocols related to staffing ratios, shift scheduling, and patient safety standards.

Possess 1-2 years of dialysis experience in a hospital environment.

Demonstrate successful completion of EKG testing with permissible attempts.

Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, with on-call responsibilities.

Must be vaccinated for COVID or have approved medical/religious exemptions.

Gain experience in a dynamic Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital setting.
