Location: The Julia at Saint Charles, New Orleans, LA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $17.00 per hour + Comprehensive Benefits
About the Role
Audubon Property Management is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Porter to join our team. You will be the "eyes and ears" of our multifamily mid-rise building, ensuring that our residents enjoy a pristine, welcoming environment every day.
This is a dual-focus role: maintaining the high standards of our luxury common areas and performing "make-ready" cleans to ensure vacated apartments are move-in ready for new residents.
Key Responsibilities
Common Area Excellence: Clean and sanitize high-traffic areas including the lobby, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and public restrooms.
Amenity Maintenance: Ensure our premium spaces-including the fitness center, clubhouse, entertainment lounge, and dog run-are spotless and organized.
Apartment Turnovers: Perform deep-cleans of vacated units (kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, cabinets, and flooring) to meet Audubon's "like-new" move-in standards.
Inventory Management: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, notifying management of any low inventory or equipment repair needs.
Property Curb Appeal: Assist with light exterior porter duties and special cleaning projects to maintain the building's overall aesthetic.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred (experience in multifamily residential or hospitality is a major plus).
Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Attention to Detail: A "sharp eye" for cleanliness and a commitment to high-quality results.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, safety protocols, and industrial cleaning equipment.
Physicality: Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with deep cleaning.
