Anesthesiology, OB Anesthesiologist

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport & Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - Shreveport seeks applicants to join our team at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, under the leadership of Wendy K. Bernstein, MD, MBA, FASA, FAMWA.
Collaborative Team: Work alongside 23 dedicated faculty anesthesiologists and 54 CRNAs.
Vibrant Training Environment: Teach and mentor 32 residents and 3 pain fellows in our fully ACGME-accredited program, plus train future neuroanesthesiologists through our ICPNT-certified fellowship .
Diverse Clinical Exposure: Care for patients across multiple sites, including our Academic Medical Center, St. Mary Medical Center, Feist-Weiller Cancer Center, and OLHS Regional Urology Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Robust Academic Community: LSU Health Sciences Center is home to 800+ students across the Schools of Medicine, Graduate Studies, and Allied Health Professions, with nearly 600 residents and fellows trained annually.
Level I Trauma Center: Be part of the only Level I Trauma Center in the region and one of just two in Louisiana.
Minimal call, with 40-hr week of Monday-Friday, 7a-3p
OT and Weekend additional comp
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Advanced training/fellowship in Peds, OB, Critical Care, or Cardiac are encouraged to apply
Eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure
