Genetics Counselor Assistant, Department of Medical Genetics
Evanston Hospital - Evanston, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem (As needed)
Provide brief conversation related to the benefits of testing, clinical utility of testing, and the possible family impacts of genetic testing.
Document personal and family history and gather information necessary to determine reason for visit.
Support informed decision making regarding genetic testing and health management options.
Administrative duties as it relates to patient care and follow-through.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: Minimum one year of work experience in genetic counseling setting preferred. Experience with Epic or other EMR system preferred.
