Seconds count in an emergency, and every caregiver in the ED plays a critical role in protecting safety and health. As an RN, you will use your nursing knowledge and skills to ensure timely, effective and efficient care throughout treatment. You can also take advantage of the countless professional and educational resources offered by Cleveland Clinic, including online courses, committee involvement and Nursing School.
A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM 7:30AM, which may include weekends and holidays.
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Completion of a Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC - adult) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC - pediatric) upon or within two years of hire
One year of current acute care/Emergency Department RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
