RN - mental health (night shift - part-time or full-time)

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Jackson, MI area for the following position: Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health. • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient environment
• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications, their side effects, and proper administration protocols
• Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the American Nurses Association (ANA)

Responsibilities:

Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in consultation with a multidisciplinary team
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for efficacy and potential side effects
Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, using evidence-based therapeutic communication techniques
Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on topics related to mental health and well-being
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care, including discharge planning and aftercare support

Salary: $72,470 to $111,200 /year
