Maintenance EngineerWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our facility and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for capital projects, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and ensure operational excellence.The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to lead maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment.Salary Range: $95,000-$125,000Essential Job Functions:Promote a culture of safety by identifying and mitigating workplace hazardsPlan, scope, and lead capital expenditure (CapEx) projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with operational and business objectivesCoordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, finance, and external vendors/contractorsOversee installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment and systemsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirementsSupport long-term capital planning by identifying equipment lifecycle needs and infrastructure upgradesDevelop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptimePerform routine inspections and servicing of machinery, systems, and facility infrastructureIdentify opportunities for equipment upgrades and continuous improvementCreate, update, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and repair activitiesMaintain accurate logs of maintenance work, equipment history, and system performance using CMMS systemsCoordinate work with external contractorsSupport team development through technical training and mentoringCollaborate with operations and production teams to align maintenance prioritiesEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and industry standardsConduct root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and implement corrective/preventive measuresMonitor KPIs such as downtime and equipment performanceCritical Knowledge and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related fieldProven experience in maintenance engineering in manufacturingStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic systemsExperience with CMMS platforms and maintenance planning toolsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manualsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesEffective time management and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience leading teams or managing vendors/contractorsFamiliarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or reliability engineering practicesEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
