Quality Checker 3rd Shift

Job Title: Quality Inspector Location: Orchard Park, NY Employment Type: Contract to Direct/Direct Placement Industry: Medical Equipment Manufacturing Schedule: Both 2nd & 3rd shift available! 2nd shift - M-F 3:00PM-11:00PM & 3rd shift - Sun-Fri 11:00PM-7:00AM **Must be available to train on 1st shift Compensation: Based on experience (+ 15% shift differential)

Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections on parts and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintain accurate inspection records, product traceability, and non-conforming material controls.
Support quality systems through audits, calibration activities, and process documentation management.

Conduct inspections, measurements, and testing of incoming materials, production components, and finished products using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
Record inspection and test results, communicate discrepancies, and support corrective and preventive action activities.
Perform dimensional inspections using gages, dies, microscopes, micrometers, and related inspection systems.
Participate in internal quality audits, environmental monitoring, and statistical process control activities.
Support compliance with ISO 13485, FDA Quality System Regulations, safety procedures, and internal quality standards.

High School Diploma or GED

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience in operating a computer and Microsoft Office software applications.

Prior medical device, aerospace, automotive or regulated Manufacturing environment.
Certificate(s) of training related to this field of work (medical device industry or quality assurance).
Proficient in the use of measuring and test equipment.
Demonstrate ability to check dimensions, surface relationships, finish material defects, and mechanical strength of product following appropriate training.
Using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, goggles, gloves, and other equipment as established in company policies and safe work procedures.
Working near cutting & machining fluids, solvents, lubricants, and other hazardous chemicals using appropriate safety controls.
