Do you want to work as a(an) Paramedic where your passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued? If you are dedicated to caring for the well‑being of others, this could be your next opportunity. As a Paramedic, you will assist with patient care in the ED under the direction of the RN. The paramedic will perform emergency care procedures including assisting with Advanced Life Support under the direction of the physician. In addition, the paramedic will maintain proper channels of communication and keeps appropriate persons informed regarding patient's condition.

Demonstrates appropriate priorities of care when admitting patients to the Emergency Department.

Assists in meeting and maintaining patient comfort needs, i.e. toileting, nutrition, pain management, rest positioning.

Displays knowledge of the specific conditions, diseases, and treatment therapies for the specific patient population of the Emergency Department.

Current Paramedic license in the State of Florida or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP)

Graduate from an accredited school for paramedics
