Automation Engineering Tech

NAThis position will design and deliver complex quality engineering automation frameworks, tools and other solutions for software development and deployment initiatives to ensure the systems meet velocity and quality expectations. The individual is expected to provide subject matter expertise and direction to internal stakeholders to ensure best practices and enterprise standards are utilized and implemented throughout the automation effort.Responsibilities:• Determines range and depth of activities required for developing or customizing complex test automation frameworks, researching and onboarding automation tools for IT.• Develops and implements metrics to measure automation effectiveness in project/release work at enterprise level• Trains QA teams to implement expanded automation coverage by adding automated environment validation, smoke and functional test scripts to CI/CD pipeline.• Provides training to the end users on the available automation solutions, tools and methodology.• Plan and develop testing processes and procedures and support automated testing tools and governance• Provide guidelines and recommendations on different tools and technologies• Responsible for resolving technical issues and help QA team members to move past the bottlenecks• Must work on Automation strategy for different projects which includes scoping the requirement, ROI assessment, identifying the reusable components and test data strategy.• Experience with supporting the technology roadmap for the organization • Experience with research and utilization on current industry standard and tools for continuous improvement• Hands-on experience with designing the implementation plans for test automation• Experience in working with cross-functional team outside of QA where the candidate can support the enterprise-level automation initiatives Job Qualifications:• Technical Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, etc.)• 10+ years working experience with extensive involvement in QA Automation Testing• One or more core programming languages: Java, C#, .Net, VB .Net/ Groovy Scripting• Testing web applications and SOAP and RESTful APIs.• Testing against RDBM'S - Oracle/SQL Server databases• Thorough understanding of Agile/Scrum development, DevOps and CI/CD process• Hands on experience building test scripts using Selenium, Git, postman or similar tools, test automation via UFT/TOSCA, test management via ALM/JIRA• Experience in Implementing CI/CD practices using tools like TFS, Jenkins• Experience with test methodologies, creating test plans, creating test cases, and debugging• Strong problem-solving Skills, written skills, verbal communication skills• Works independently under minimal direction with strong work ethicNAPosting Date:09/27/2020Department: -
