Senior Tax Associate – Tampa, FL
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Tax Associate to join our client’s collaborative and growing tax team. This role is ideal for a tax professional looking to deepen their technical skills, take ownership of client work, and grow into a leadership track. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tax engagements while being supported by experienced mentors.

Overview of the Senior Tax Associate role:
Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
Assist with tax planning, research, and consulting for a variety of clients.
Communicate directly with clients to request information, explain tax matters, and resolve issues.
Research technical tax issues and prepare supporting memoranda.
Support managers with tax projections and year‑end planning.
Help train and guide junior staff accountants.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and deadlines.
CPA or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or tax advisory services.
Solid knowledge of individual and business tax concepts.
Experience with tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, GoSystem) and Microsoft Office Suite.
