Top ENR Mechanical contractor is looking for an experienced Piping Estimator. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in estimating costs and preparing bids for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects. This position requires a strong understanding of project specifications and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate project estimates.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze project drawings and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP systems.Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather information on project requirements and scope.Prepare and submit bids for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather relevant data for cost estimation.Maintain a database of costs for materials, labor, and equipment to ensure accurate pricing and budgeting.Assist in the preparation of project schedules and timelines based on estimated costs and resources needed.Provide support during the bidding process by addressing inquiries and clarifying project details to potential contractors.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experienceProven experience as an estimator in the MEP industry, with a strong focus on piping and HVAC systems.Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate cost estimation.Familiarity with materials management and procurement processes in construction projects.BenefitsCompensation $80,000-$130,000Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceEmployee Stock Ownership Program401K w/ Company ContributionsYearly BonusGym ReimbursementTuition ReimbursementPaid Time Off/Sick LeaveHolidays OffParental Leave
