As Microsoft continues to evolve its secure infrastructure and elevate customer trust, the Secure Production Access (SPA) team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Secure Device engineering team.SPA is at the forefront of enabling secure access to production environments, ensuring that Microsoft services remain resilient, compliant, and secure. In this role, you will lead engineering efforts that modernize secure access experiences, rapidly scale internal products, and ensure world‑class reliability for services used daily by thousands of engineers. You will own complex technical areas end‑to‑end and collaborate extensively with teams across Microsoft. Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.Experience with telemetry-driven decision making and live-site engineering practices.
