RN ICU Weekend Shifts Temporary

NightHours per Shift: 12Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience preferredLicense: Must have a valid nursing licenseCertifications: ACLS BLSMust-Have: Previous charge experience preferredExperience with patient ratios of 2Experience with Epic charting system preferredDescription: 36 or 48-hour option available. Unit accepts first-time travelers. Weekends are required. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile local radius. Staffing includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Patient diagnoses may include ARDS, sepsis, congestive heart failure, overdose, post-operative complications, DKA, and GI bleeds. Special procedures performed include CRRT and high-risk surgical care. Skills required include management of arterial lines, ventilator management, central line care, and phlebotomy. Each traveler will receive a brief orientation on the unit. Travelers are expected to float to similar units within their scope, as needed based on facility needs.
