CNC Machinist - Aerospace Manufacturing

Looking for CNC Machinists Join a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer as a CNC Machinist. In this role, you'll machine precision parts such as pumps, valves, switches, and actuators using advanced CNC equipment. You'll work in a safe, team-focused environment with opportunities to grow from a Level 3 to a Level 4 Machinist.

What You'll Do

Operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes (Mazak, Mori Seiki, Nakamura).

Set up machines, tooling, and fixtures for production runs.

Make program edits using G-code and Fanuc controls.

Machine aluminum and other metals to tight tolerances.

Inspect parts using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.

Perform first article inspections and document results.

Deburr and finish machined parts.

Read and follow blueprints and engineering drawings.

Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues with teammates.

Required Qualifications

CNC machining experience with multi-axis mills and/or lathes.

Experience performing machine setups and making program edits.

Knowledge of G-code and Fanuc controls.

Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing documentation.

Experience using precision measuring tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.

Experience machining castings and aluminum components.

Familiarity with Moriseiki, Mazak, or Nakamura machines.

Experience in a high-volume production environment.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Schedule & Work Environment

Primary shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM.

Optional Saturday overtime available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valencia, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
