***IMMEDIATE NEED FOR A L&D RN***

Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
This is a 13-week contract position.
Three shifts of 12 hours per week, totaling 36 hours. Shifts rotate between 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM, with a requirement to be on call for 12-hour shifts within a 6-week schedule. This role includes 6 weekend shifts during the same period.
As a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery, you will provide exceptional care to expectant mothers and newborns. You will work collaboratively within a team to ensure the safe delivery process, assist with postpartum care, and maintain thorough patient records. The RN will also have responsibilities related to monitoring vitals and performing assessments to ensure the well-being of both mother and child.

Conduct assessments and monitor patients throughout labor and delivery.
Administer medications and manage pain relief procedures.
Provide immediate care to newborns following delivery.
Educate patients and families regarding postpartum care and newborn care.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.

Active RN licensure in the state of practice.
Experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred.
BLS and NRP certification required.
