(KP Northern California) is seeking a highly skilled, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Hand Surgeon for a Per Diem position at our Fremont medical facility. Description As a Per Diem Orthopedic Hand Surgeon with The Permanente Medical Group, you will step into a mature, built-in referral network that prioritizes exceptional patient outcomes over administrative overhead. You will diagnose, treat, and perform surgical interventions for a diverse range of hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions.

Working in our Fremont facility, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of orthopedic colleagues, advanced practice providers, and dedicated hand therapists. This position allows you to practice pure medicine, backed by Kaiser Permanente’s industry-leading electronic health record system and comprehensive operational support.

Requirements Education & Training : MD or DO from an accredited institution; successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and a dedicated Hand Surgery Fellowship.

Board Certified or Board Eligible by an American Medical Specialty Board (ABOS or equivalent).

Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California (or eligible to obtain).

Strong clinical and surgical judgment, excellent interpersonal communication, and a deep commitment to cultivating an inclusive, equitable environment for patients, physicians, and staff alike.

Hourly Pay Rate : $320.00 - $330.00 per hour
