An R&D Chemist I is responsible for work in R&D projects, both independently and in collaboration with other R&D personnel, and often as a collaborating member of a cross-functional team. The mission of the R&D Chemist I is to develop new products and processes as dictated by business needs, conducting sophisticated chemical research quickly, cost effectively, and safely. Support Senior R&D scientists in new product development, process improvement, and technical problem solving on existing products.

Design and execute laboratory experiments to develop new formulations and processes following strict laboratory safety standards.

Operate laboratory instrumentation and perform routine analyses including titration, pH, X-ray, optical microscopy, cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry analysis.

Analyze, interpret and document experimental results accurately and clearly, maintaining high standards of data integrity.

Self-driven, curious, with a passion for science, technology and problem solving.

Practical laboratory experience preferably in any of the following fields: general electrochemistry, electroplating technology, materials science, formulation for electronics manufacturing.

Experience with DOE and statistical analysis software (e.g. Experience with Microsoft Office applications is required

S. in Chemistry, Materials Science or a related scientific discipline

Experience working in laboratories/R&D laboratory environment (industrial experience highly advantageous)
