Locum Tenens Urology Physician / Urologist

Healthcare Setting: On-site, Level III trauma facility

Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,480–$7,670

Approximately 10 patient encounters per shift

Urology Physician Job Requirements
At least 1 year of clinical experience in urology

Active Maryland medical license

Broad general urology experience preferred

Experience with adult and pediatric urology preferred

Experience with robotic procedures, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, cystectomy, adrenalectomy, and related urologic surgeries preferred

Experience with renal and bladder ultrasound, TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures, fertility evaluations, and ESWL preferred

Locum Tenens Urology Physician Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive urologic evaluation and treatment for patients in an on-site hospital setting

Manage approximately 10 patient encounters per shift

Perform consultations, diagnostic assessments, procedures, and follow-up care within the scope of urology practice

Apply appropriate expertise in general, adult, and pediatric urology as needed

Perform or assist with advanced endoscopic, laparoscopic, robotic, and stone-management procedures when clinically indicated

Collaborate with the healthcare team to support safe, timely, and high-quality patient care

Maintain accurate medical documentation and comply with applicable clinical and credentialing requirements
