Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist RN (CVIS RN)

Location: Titusville, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (08:30 - 19:00)

Job Description: The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist RN (CVIS RN) performs within the scope of an RN license while also utilizing a range of technical skills during various Interventional Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology, or Interventional Radiology procedures. The CVIS RN ensures an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination for all patients.

Responsibilities:

Perform angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring.

Assist with various procedures including central line insertion, cardiac mapping, and device implantation.

Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort.

Administer medications, including emergency medications while maintaining patient care protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular invasive role.

Florida or Compact RN license is required.

Current certifications in ACLS and BCLS are mandatory.

Experience with Meditech charting system is preferred.
