Food Runner - Restaurant (Full-Time, Part-Time)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their food and beverages promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a passion for customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.

Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are correctly prepared and presented.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables as needed.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.

Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs.

Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times.

Assist in food preparation tasks as required, including cooking and plating dishes.

Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.

Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.

Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.

Experience in banquet service or catering is beneficial.

Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

A background in culinary arts or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory.
