Phlebotomist II - Salisbury, MD
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with rotational weekends.

Pay Range
17.71-26.56 / hour. Salary offers based on skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities

Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams, etc.).

Administer oral solutions according to established training.

Research and verify test/client information using laboratory technology systems, client contact, and approved tools.

Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.

Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments per corporate policies.

Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport as required).

Perform non‑patient‑facing duties (inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, using email).

Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.

Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.

Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance, temperature, etc.) in a timely manner.

Complete online and in‑person training courses on schedule.

Qualifications

Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Keyboard/data‑entry experience.

Flexible and available for staffing needs (weekends, holidays, on‑call, overtime).

Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (when applicable).

High‑school diploma or equivalent.

Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Ability to effectively communicate in English.
