Pipefitter (Temp)

Aerotek is looking for Pipefitters for Newport News VA. The pay is 35 dollars an hour with 140 per diem. You need at least four years of pipefitting experience.

Read and interpret ship piping drawings to plan and execute pipefitting tasks accurately.

Perform end preparation of piping by hand and with appropriate machinery, such as specialized pipe preparation equipment.

Prepare and fit backing rings to support welding and ensure proper joint configuration.

Clean cut and break pipe using a grinder while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Hand‑prep V bevels on pipe ends to meet welding and fabrication requirements.

This is a Contract position based out of Greenville, SC.
