What We Offer:Nurse Next Door People Promise, you love coming to work$70.00 to $ 80.00 per hourFantastic benefits package (30+ hours worked per week)24/7 support center to assist with scheduling related questions24/7 assistance related to client careIn home care with private clientsPaid mileageNo union duesResponsibilities and Duties:Perform initial and ongoing in-home occupational therapy evaluations to assess clients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).Assess functional limitations related to mobility, coordination, cognition, strength, and safety within the home environment.Develop and implement customized occupational therapy treatment plans focused on independence, safety, and rehabilitation goals. Provide therapy interventions.ADL and self-care training (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)Upper extremity strengthening and coordination exercisesFine motor skill developmentCognitive and perceptual retrainingHome safety assessments and fall prevention strategiesEnergy conservation techniquesRecommend and educate clients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices to enhance independence.Train clients and caregivers on safe transfer techniques, environmental modifications, and home exercise programs.Monitor and document progress toward therapy goals and modify treatment plans as needed based on clinical outcomes.Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including RNs, Physical Therapists, physicians, and case managers.Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record systems.Promote functional independence, prevent decline, and enhance overall quality of life through patient-centered care.Requirements:A current Virginia Occupational Therapist license in good standing.Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in home health.Valid TB screening and criminal background check.Current BLS Certification (preferred).Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.Legal authorization to work in the United States.Availability during morning hours is required.Location: Arlington, VA, Reston, VA, Annandale, VA, McLean, VA, Fairfax, VA, Alexandria, VA, Manassas, VA, Woodbridge, VA, Falls Church, VA
