Janitorial Associate, 2nd Shift

Associate Custodian, Evening

Assist in maintaining, or may maintain, a clean, safe, and healthy environment in University facilities. a) drive a university owned vehicle during work shift, (b) work a non-traditional schedule, see posted shift schedule, (c) learn and perform specialized cleaning procedures. May provide building access by locking and unlocking areas as scheduled by the department. May develop relationships with building occupants and respond to requests.
This position represents a dual-level posting and will be filled as an Associate Custodian or Custodian. Paid Time Off - Generous vacation, holiday, sick, and military leave

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Starting Pay: $15.00 plus $0.70 shift differential for a total of $15.70
Must complete onboarding training, or be enrolled in program within 90 days of hire
Must be able to read, speak, and understand English to effectively communicate and understand others
Ability to learn and use powered and non-powered floor care equipment
Learn and follow safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment as required
Work outdoors 10% of the time in temperatures below 32 degrees and above 90 degrees
24 months of total work experience

Must be able to read, speak, and understand English to effectively communicate and understand others
