Manufacturing Engineering Trainee - Baldwin Park, CA

Provide hands on support to build/repair existing equipment.

• Conduct time studies and use data to design and implement new test equipment.
• Create detail itemized drawings and create/maintain bills of materials (BOM)

for product manufacturing, marketing, and purchasing, as well as support
production and fabrication documents through IBM systems.
* Create detail part drawings such as 3D models for tooling, fixtures, and
manufacturing.
* Provide support to manufacturing engineers in other areas such as new product
Conduct root cause analysis investigations.
* Maintain accurate engineering documents and work very closely with production
on all engineering updates.
* Create, revise, and maintain production and procurement documents to produce
parts and components per design specifications and quality standards.

• Support quality assurance by documenting FA or testing results.
• Confirm most current drawing revisions on production documents and update on

Maintain libraries of CAD models, manufacturing prints, CNC programs.
* Occasionally operate CNC machines to support manufacturing.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering,
Industrial Engineering or related field.

Experience in a variety of manufacturing processes (preferred)
* Experience with milling, turning, and/or grinding aerospace materials
(aerospace superalloys (preferred)

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, general
to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete
Strong proficiency with SolidWorks modeling of parts, assemblies, and
Excellent planning, organizing, and coordinating skills
