Bartender Position at Cecilia Restaurant

Cecilia, our already popular breakfast restaurant is opening for dinner this March! We are looking for experienced, friendly and knowledgeable bartenders to join our award winning hospitality team! NW Hospitality is known for its original restaurant concept, Amaro's Table. We are excited to offer the same great quality and standards at our new concept for Cecilia in the evenings. We will be serving NW inspired cuisine from a scratch kitchen, with an emphasis on local ingredients. Wine will be a large focus for this concept with a similarly great bar program the community has grown to love at our restaurants. Our bar programs are bartender driven, creative and expansive. We strive to try new techniques that are relevant to the cocktail world and push ourselves to create innovative and delicious beverages. Our bartenders should be passionate about their craft, up to date on cocktail trends and hungry to learn!

Proven Excellence: Demonstrate a track record of exceptional service in high-end dining establishments. Culinary Acumen: Possess a deep understanding of food and wine pairings, allowing you to guide guests through our menu with confidence and enthusiasm.

Beverage Knowledge: An exceptional grasp of classic/modern cocktails, spirits, wine and beer. Connecting with guests and collaborating with the team are integral parts of this role.

Prepare and serve drinks that are 100% accurately made and beautifully garnished, consistent with Amaro's Table standards and recipes.

Create cost-considerate draft cocktails, drink specials, etc, with daily stock/surplus.

Plan drink menus and inform customers about new beverages and specials.

Maintain an expert level understanding of the current wine, beer and spirits selection, with an emphasis on amari. Stay in tune with all seasonal or rotating items.

Make drink or spirit recommendations to guests and servers using knowledge of our backbar with a default to classic cocktails and amari.

Learn the names and personally recognize our regulars, provide thoughtful and engaging service to all.

Follow all steps of service outlined in Server Guidelines and maintain highest standards.

Check identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.

Take food and beverage orders from guests and relay to kitchen via POS with 100% accuracy.

Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.

Assess levels of intoxication of patrons to ensure no over-service occurs. Kindly and discretely cut off alcohol service if needed.

Make sure log book is filled and all comp'd or spilled drinks are on the appropriate sheet, to be checked by MOD at the end of your shift.

Clear and reset tables in bar area. Maintain attractive, clean and sanitized workspace, back bar and storage area.

Report all *86's, tap changes, equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to restaurant manager.

Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies along with rotating the stock and keeping the stock areas clean and organized.

Both part-time and full-time positions available, with schedule flexibility.

Closed for major holidays: 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
