Under general supervision, safely and efficiently operates a van or minibus. Provides for the transportation of employees to/from work in accordance with an established schedule and route. Operates a multi-passenger vehicle to transport passengers, including persons with disabilities, from established “pick-up/drop-off” locations, to their assigned work site and then returned to the “pick-up/drop-off” locations. This position requires working non-traditional hours and/or split shifts.

• *Performs vehicle inspections and reports any mechanical problems or defects of the assigned vehicle prior to departure.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

• Customer service skills to act responsively to customer inquiries and requests and escalate the more difficult matters appropriately
• High School Diploma or GED

**The following licenses or certificates may berequired depending on local, state and/or contract requirements:

Class A or B w/Pass End

Class B, Passenger End

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:

• Truck drivers in this classification load and unload trucks of materials and/or equipment
• Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
• Most work is performed outdoors and, in a vehicle, while driving. Frequently operate a passenger bus in a variety of traffic and weather conditions. This position requires working non-traditional hours and/or split shifts.
