RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. 750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36-40 hours per week

• Weekend schedule requirements to be discussed during interview
• Must have 2+ years of ICU nursing experience
• Float to other units as needed based on hospital requirements
• Follow company-wide attendance policy
• Maintain clean and healthy nails with no artificial nails, gel, or extensions allowed
• Cover body art/tattoos whenever possible
• Required certifications to be specified based on unit requirements
• Provide direct patient care in intensive care unit setting
• Perform various ICU procedures and patient care activities
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare team

Facility:

This full-service acute care hospital is licensed for 186 beds and has been serving the community since 1976. The facility operates as a Level III Trauma Center and features the county's only pediatric emergency room. The hospital offers comprehensive services including a state-designated Level III NICU, women's services, cardiovascular and rehabilitation services, and serves as a Primary Stroke Center. The facility has received recognition from The Joint Commission as a Top Performer on key quality measures and achieved Magnet recognition for nursing excellence, making it the first hospital in southern Denton County to receive this prestigious designation.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
